Welcome to "A Novel Group of Writers"

Part of the Florida Writers Association (FWA), we're a fine organization, full of writers who are willing to help writers.

We meet once a month in Lake Mary, Florida and review each others' written pieces. There’s no cost, other than your time and talents. We have some excellent writers in our group. Some have published works to their credit, others have won competitions, and several have been finalists for the Royal Palm Literary Awards. I’m confident other members will have their current work-in-process published also. We’re a group that enjoys sharing information, techniques, ideas, opinions and suggestions.

If you’re interested in attending our next meeting, please contact John Hope or Mark McWaters and they will provide you additional information about the group and do his best to answer any questions you may have. You’re more than welcome to attend, meet the members, see how we conduct our meetings, and our critique methods.

Keep in mind that we’re a critique group, primarily focused on novel writing, although our members are open to shorter pieces. We are open to all genres, but no erotica. If you’re specifically interested in a short story critique group, there's an excellent one that meets the second Tuesday of each month in Lake Mary - contact John or Mark for more information. If you’re looking for presentations about blogging, marketing, poetry, etc., we’re not the group.

As the FWA tag line says – Writers Helping Writers. Let me know how we can help make FWA work for you.
